Job summary

The NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Small Homes Stabilization programs. You will manage loan origination, underwriting, and closing, working with Deputy Director and Director to support program delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing loan packages, negotiating terms, and coordinating with developers, lenders, and internal HPD divisions to ensure timely funding and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant community work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and six years of related experience.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Lead loan origination, underwriting, and closing for program loans.
• Review loan packages for program/compliance.
• Prepare budgets, pro formas, and affordability analyses.
• Draft and review legal documents.
• Coordinate with developers, lenders, HPD divisions, and program partners.
• Present project proposals to senior staff and stakeholders.
