Essential responsibilities include directing Civil Rights/ADA improvement plans, delivering staff training, resolving grievances, and reporting to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
  • More than five years of project management and strategic planning experience.
  • Over four years of data analysis or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the City's Civil Rights and ADA accessibility improvement plans, aligning operational efforts with obligations and inclusion goals.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs for municipal staff and supervisors; serve as the primary consultant for compliance and inclusion.
  • Administer grievance procedures with empathy; investigate complaints and address systemic issues across programs, facilities, and technology.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor staff, interns, and fellows in an equity-centered workplace.
  • Research regulatory trends, evaluate practices, and deliver recommendations and progress reports to executive leadership.
  • Evaluate ADA policies and department accessibility practices; lead cross-department efforts to remove barriers.
