Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually

Senior Project Manager
Role Overview
  • Holds overall responsibility for the successful completion of every assigned project.
  • Manages large, complex projects typically requiring a larger team, which may include Project Managers (PMs) and other support staff.
  • Involves participation in corporate functions.
Qualifications
  • Senior-level professional.
  • Demonstrated, long-term expertise in fulfilling the role of a PM across multiple project types.
  • Excellent customer interface capabilities, including marketing and project interviews.
Basic Duties
  • Overall Project Administration:
    • Handle customer interfaces and ensure overall project responsibility from preconstruction through closeout.
    • Perform PM responsibilities and/or ensure PMs fulfill their responsibilities for each project.
    • Assist in preconstruction services for negotiated work.
  • Staff Training & Oversight:
    • Assist in the training and development of staff.
    • Oversee and ensure that tasks performed by PMs and Assistant Project Managers (APMs) are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with policies and standards (covering submittals, RFIs, material tracking, project closeout, BIM, change orders, invoices/payments, scheduling, safety, quality control, and cost control).
    • Thoroughly review monthly and/or quarterly project cost reports and PRMs prepared by PMs.
  • Marketing:
    • Ensure current project customers are completely satisfied with company performance.
    • Maintain communication with current and past customers regarding potential future work.
    • Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and preparing for prospective project interviews.
    • Participate in prospective project interviews, taking the lead for sections of presentations.
  • Meeting Attendance & Participation:
    • Attend and participate in purchasing meetings, ops staff meetings, superintendent meetings, general staff meetings, corporate management meetings, planning meetings (when requested), and quarterly project financial review meetings.
Additional Duties
  • Estimating/Bidding:
    • Assist PMs on or before bid day in reviewing scopes of work for subcontractors of assigned trades.
    • Attend pre-bid meetings as directed and subcontractor pre-bid walk-throughs.
    • Develop preliminary project schedules for bidding and/or bid submission.
    • Assist PMs during preconstruction in negotiated, GMP, and Design-Build projects.
  • Documents Management:
    • Ensure all documents—including design team-issued sketches, bulletins, plan revisions, RFIs, and approved submittals—are uploaded to document management software and SharePoint as appropriate.
    • Implement and monitor plans to comply with owner security and access requirements based on project needs.
