Jobot in the Chicago area is seeking an experienced commercial flooring project manager to lead day-to-day oversight of projects both on-site and in-office. This role focuses on delivering flooring solutions for schools, offices, hospitals, and hotels with a strong emphasis on relationships with clients, general contractors, and facility owners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial flooring, a proven track record in budgeting, negotiation, and risk management, and holds or is pursuing

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial flooring or similar industries.
• Strong network with clients, GCs, PMs, or facility owners.
• Proven ability in project delivery, contracts, and risk management.
• Experience with budgeting, estimation, negotiating, and presenting.
• Preferred PMP or CCM certifications.
• Results-driven, proactive problem-solver and professional communicator.

Responsabilités

• Lead projects from initiation to completion on site and in office.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and procurement with stakeholders.
• Develop and present project estimates and status reports.
• Mitigate risks and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain strong client and partner relationships.

Job Details

• 5+ years of commercial flooring (or similar) experience

• Excellent construction project delivery methods, contracts, and risk management
• Project budgeting, estimation, negotiating, and presenting
• Preferred certifications: PMP, CCM, etc.
• Results-oriented, problem solver, professional communicator
