Job summary

Thor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead data center project delivery across its U.S. portfolio. The role covers projects from execution through completion, coordinating owners, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and field teams to keep delivery on track.

The position requires extensive data center construction experience, strong commercial and operational understanding, and the ability to manage schedules, costs and changes. Travel is expected at about 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications and closeout.

A U.S. general contractor focused specifically on data center construction is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead project delivery across its growing portfolio.

The business delivers enterprise, colocation and hyperscale data center projects, with work ranging from smaller deployments through to 100MW+ developments.

The Role

• Take overall day-to-day leadership of data center projects from construction through completion
• Own schedule, cost, contracts, procurement, change management and project reporting
• Coordinate owners, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and field teams to keep delivery on track
• Partner closely with the Superintendent and project team on construction progress, quality, safety and schedule
• Identify commercial, technical and schedule issues early and drive them through to resolution
• Maintain client communication and clear visibility on project progress, risks and financial performance

• Proven data center construction experience is required
