Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple projects and programs, collaborating across teams to maximize outcomes and drive strategic objectives. You will work with stakeholders from contributors to executives to align delivery with business goals.

Responsibilities include end-to-end planning, risk management, and reporting on progress, while ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope, and enhancing project delivery processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience with large projects and international customers.
• PM certification such as PMP or Prince2 preferred.
• BA, BS or equivalent in engineering is advantageous.
• Proficient with MS Project and Primavera.
• Highly organized with a proven ability to drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for overall project and program planning, milestones and deliverables.
• Provide timely reporting on project progress and success metrics.
• Link all activities within a program to maximize efficiency and reduce risks.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time within scope and budget.
• Take corrective actions to meet project timelines.
• Hold all stakeholders, including senior ones, accountable to commitments.
• Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks.
• Define best delivery strategies with Account and Success Managers for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate communication between internal departments.
• Identify risks and issues and propose mitigations.
• Contribute to development of PM processes and best practices.

Position Summary

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead multiple projects and programs simultaneously, working collaboratively and cross-functionally to maximize project outcomes. You will provide input and advise on strategies to achieve strategic objectives while improving Users sentiment. You will work with a range of stakeholders from individual contributors to subject matter experts and executives alike.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for overall projects and program planning and documentation, and management of expectations, milestones, and deliverables.
• Provide timely and informative reporting on project progress and project success metrics.
• Link all activities within a program of work to maximize efficiency and reduce risks
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget.
• Take corrective actions where needed to achieve project deliverables to the project timeline.
• Have the confidence and capability to hold all stakeholders, including senior stakeholders accountable to project commitments.
• Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
• Work closely with Account Managers and Success Managers to define the best delivery strategy for your assigned accounts.
• Act as a key contact for facilitation and coordination of communication between internal departments.
• Promptly identify risks and issues and propose solutions to mitigate them.
• Contribute to the development of processes and best practices for project management execution for the project management team.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience, working with large projects and international customers.
• PMP / Prince2 or other formal Project Management certification strongly preferred.
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in engineering considered advantageous.
• Proficient with multiple desktop applications, including specific project management tools (MSProject, Primavera, etc).
• Highly organized with a proven ability to drive projects to completion and persevere to get the job done.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including delivering professional presentations.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities including the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent conflict management skills.
• Up to 20% travelling availability required.
