Job summary

Bentley Systems, a global provider of infrastructure software, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple projects and programs with cross-functional collaboration. You will advise on strategies to meet objectives, while improving user sentiment and coordinating with executives and SMEs. Hybrid work is preferred.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of PM experience, PMP/Prince2, engineering background, and strong communication to drive delivery and manage risks across accounts globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience with large, international projects.
• PMP, Prince2 or similar certification strongly preferred.
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in engineering advantageous.
• Proficient with MS Project, Primavera and other PM tools.
• Strong written and oral communication with leadership ability.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Position Summary:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead multiple projects and programs simultaneously, working collaboratively and cross-functionally to maximize project outcomes. You will provide input and advise on strategies to achieve strategic objectives while improving Users sentiment. You will work with a range of stakeholders from individual contributors to subject matter experts and executives alike.

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for overall projects and program planning and documentation, and management of expectations, milestones, and deliverables.
• Provide timely and informative reporting on project progress and project success metrics.
• Link all activities within a program of work to maximize efficiency and reduce risks
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget.
• Take corrective actions where needed to achieve project deliverables to the project timeline.
• Have the confidence and capability to hold all stakeholders, including senior stakeholders accountable to project commitments.
• Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
• Work closely with Account Managers and Success Managers to define the best delivery strategy for your assigned accounts.
• Act as a key contact for facilitation and coordination of communication between internal departments.
• Promptly identify risks and issues and propose solutions to mitigate them.
• Contribute to the development of processes and best practices for project management execution for the project management team.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of program or project management experience, working with large projects and international customers.
• PMP / Prince2 or other formal Project Management certification strongly preferred.
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in engineering considered advantageous.
• Proficient with multiple desktop applications, including specific project management tools (MSProject, Primavera, etc).
• Highly organized with a proven ability to drive projects to completion and persevere to get the job done.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including delivering professional presentations.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities including the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization.
• Up to 20% travelling availability required.
