Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities across carpentry, drywall, and general construction teams. You will review plans, allocate resources, assign duties, and maintain financial success for projects while communicating with customers to develop sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Project Management or Estimating experience in construction industry preferred.
• Excel or Word processing software experience required.
• Proven ability in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by planning, directing, and coordinating activities.
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget, staffing, and resource allocation for phases.
• Assign duties and provide technical guidance to staff.
• Direct and coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and within scope; review status reports and adjust as needed.
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and resolve problems.
• Coordinate submittals, permits, closeouts, and ordering parts; manage financials of projects.

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Sr. Project Manager in our St. Louis, MO office! Responsibilities will include ensuring project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities
• Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
• Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.
• Responsible for financial success of projects
• Additional company projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred
• Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience
• Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
