Lead Talent Recruiter, Enterprise Talent Services at Motion Recruitment

Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with strong U.S. commercial airline experience to lead high-impact aircraft modification initiatives. This role will support highly visible connectivity upgrade programs across the fleet, including the integration of next-generation in-flight entertainment and Wi-Fi hardware. The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with FAA, DOT, and other regulatory environments, and has a proven track record managing STC-driven aircraft technology retrofits. This person will partner closely with an internal change management team and must be comfortable presenting to executives and fielding C-suite-level inquiries.

This role is based onsite in Seattle (just South of SeaTac airport) and offers candidates the opportunity to grow their project and change management skills with industry experts over the course of a 1 year, W2 contract that includes competitive benefits and the potential to extend or convert to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex aircraft modification projects from planning through implementation, ensuring adherence to compliance and operational requirements
  • Collaborate with internal change management partners to deliver seamless rollout and adoption strategies
  • Coordinate efforts across engineering, operations, vendors, and business leadership to drive key milestones
  • Support projects involving entertainment system upgrades, Wi-Fi hardware retrofits (including ESA antennas), and satellite service transitions (from GEO to LEO networks)
  • Prepare and deliver clear, executive-facing communications, including C-suite presentations and status updates
  • Translate technical requirements into actionable project plans without needing to be the technical SME
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory frameworks throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of project and/or change management experience
  • Must have U.S.-based aircraft modification experience and knowledge of STCs
  • Strong understanding of FAA, DOT, and other aviation regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing or supporting retrofit programs involving in-flight entertainment, connectivity, or similar aircraft technologies
  • Proven ability to manage executive communications and present to senior leadership
  • Ability to independently manage competing priorities and keep projects on track under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field — or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ESA antennas, satellite networks (GEO/LEO), or similar aircraft hardware integrations
  • Experience with airline maintenance practices and cross-functional aviation operations
  • Exposure to change management methodologies or collaboration with internal change teams
  • PMP certification or willingness to obtain
  • Proficiency with MS Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, MS Project, or other PM collaboration tools

You will receive the following benefits:

  • Medical Insurance - Four medical plans to choose from for you and your family
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Voluntary Life Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance
  • Hospital Indemnity Insurance
  • Legal and Identity Protection Plans
  • 529 College Saver Plan
