Job summary

LHH in San Rafael, CA is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 1-year contract to lead a regulated capital-project portfolio, including the construction of a new administrative office in Marin County. You will report to the CEO and coordinate with landlords, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and regulators.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risks across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry is required.
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide crystal clear project reports to executive leadership and as requested, the Board of Directors and appropriate Board committees. Spearhead projects from planning plus design through permitting, construction, activation, occupancy, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, risk registers, decision logs, and action-item trackers.
• Serve as company's main point of contact and coordination for landlords, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct project meetings and ensure decisions, approvals, changes, and responsibilities are clearly documented.
• Identify schedule delays, budget pressures, construction issues, and other risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

Job description

Duration: 1-Year Contract with potential to convert depending on performance and business needs.

Pay Rate: $70-$85/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Reporting To: CEO

Target Start Date: September 2026
