Job Description
T2 Utility Engineers (T2ue) specializes in providing reliable underground and above-ground utility information to reduce the risks utilities present for infrastructure projects. We help clients manage existing utilities with our professional and comprehensive services in Subsurface Utility Engineering, Utility Coordination, and Surveying.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform plans reading and act as liaison between designers, utility agencies, and owners on behalf of clients.
- Represent T2ue at client meetings, interface with clients to secure new assignments, and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
- Analyze backlog, resources, and sales to determine priorities; coordinate with Regional Manager for resources and equipment.
- Oversee all QA/QC functions to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- Assist with proposals and client interface to obtain work.
- Prepare work plans, assemble project teams, delegate tasks, and ensure scope and deadlines are met.
- Review and approve design calculations, specifications, and other submittals.
- Review invoices and prepare/review progress reports for clients.
- Manage performance and work accomplishment of all contracts.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and profitably, implementing quality control measures.
- Ensure client satisfaction with work products and services.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including scope, budget, and cost tracking.
- Ensure mapping is performed according to company procedures and industry standards.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients and business partners.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities, develop solutions, and present value propositions.
- Enforce compliance with risk management procedures.
- Expand relationships with clients and partners regionally, engaging with senior client executives to negotiate and close transactions.
- Monitor local market activities, report on client and competitor activities, and initiate actions.
- Prepare business activity and forecast reports, support marketing efforts, and track sales goals.
- Evaluate competitor activities and secure contracts from clients.
- Promote T2ue capabilities and services to clients and prospects, collaborating with Business Development to target potential clients, including attending trade shows and events.
- Assist clients in understanding the ROI of our services.
Qualifications:
- Professional license in engineering (PE), surveying, or geology, or a 4-year college degree plus 3 years’ experience in utility design/construction, or 8 years’ experience in the field, or 2 years as a Project Manager in Utilities.
- BSc/MSc in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to network effectively for business growth.
- Ability to work under pressure, with strategic vision and organizational skills.
- Proposal and contract negotiation skills.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Experience in project management producing client contract deliverables.
- Proficiency in MicroStation/ORD, AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
