PrideNow, a premier construction company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in New York, NY to lead large, complex projects from inception through delivery. You will oversee project teams, coordinate with Field Operations and Preconstruction, and drive safety, quality, and profitability.

The role requires proven leadership, mentoring of junior PMs, strong client relationships, and expertise in managing budgets, change orders, and schedules.

Job description

Our client, a construction company, is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager in New York, NY.

Pay Rate Range: $130,000–$165,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large, complex, and high-value construction projects from start to finish
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior Project Managers
• Oversee up to three project management team members
• Manage project financials, including budgets, profitability, and change order negotiations
• Identify opportunities to improve project execution through prefabrication and coordinate implementation with Field Operations and Preconstruction teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Collaborate with Field Operations, Preconstruction, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Develop and implement processes that improve project execution and overall team performance

Requirements

• Extensive construction project management experience, including management of large and complex projects
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or managing junior Project Management professionals
• Experience managing project financials and negotiating change orders
• Experience identifying and implementing prefabrication opportunities
• Strong client relationship management and business development experience
• Strong understanding of Field Operations and Preconstruction processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Experience with Plexxis and/or Procore is highly preferred
