A growing and well-established commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through final completion. Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of assigned construction projects. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams while maintaining accountability for project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction, estimating, execution, and closeout.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality expectations.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define scope and project requirements.
  • Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
Operations & Field Coordination
  • Collaborate with field personnel and specialty trade partners to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure seamless execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and project milestones.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and schedule communication.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem solving.
  • Lead internal project teams and subcontractors.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment focused on accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor team members and support professional development initiatives.
Problem Resolution
  • Identify project risks and challenges early.
  • Implement practical solutions to maintain project schedules and budget goals.
  • Resolve issues while minimizing impacts to project success.
Safety & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, safety requirements, and company standards.
  • Conduct site visits and monitor project performance.
  • Promote a culture of quality workmanship and jobsite safety.p
Qualifications
Experience
  • 3-5+ years of project management experience within a general contracting or commercial construction environment.
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Background in estimating, budgeting, and scheduling preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong leadership and project team management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver construction projects.
  • Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software.
