Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects across the Bay Area, coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors. You will manage schedules, budgets, quality control, and communication to ensure successful project delivery.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in CM/Civil Eng, 5+ years of commercial construction experience, and strong knowledge of MEP systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building trades, methods, and materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project or Primavera, and estimating software.
  • LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects end to end across pre-construction, contract administration, cost control, document control, and scheduling.
  • Prepare requests for proposal, analyze subcontractor proposals, and produce quantity take-offs during pre-construction.
  • Draft owner and subcontractor agreements, review monthly billings, and manage change orders and cost control.
  • Maintain master schedules and 3-week rolling schedules, coordinating with superintendents on project progress.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor and owner or architect meetings, distributing minutes and project documentation.
  • Review subcontractor and vendor submittals and drawings for adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Supervise and mentor superintendents, project engineers, and project administrators.
  • Coordinate with estimators on budgets and support bid review and project feasibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, construction managers, and facility managers.

Education
