Job summary

Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive electrical power distribution projects in our Arlington, Texas facility. This fully onsite role collaborates with operations, sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver on scope, schedule, and budgets while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Candidates should have 10+ years in related fields, 5+ years PM experience, and experience with SAP/MS Project. PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 10 years of progressive experience in related fields.
• 5+ years of project management experience with ownership of scope, cost, and schedule.
• 3–5 years in electrical power distribution with hands-on exposure to switchgear or distribution units.

Thomson Power systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with our operations and field service teams, reporting to the Manager of Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Ensure project execution aligns with contractual requirements and internal guidelines.
• Oversee project financials including invoicing, cost tracking, expenses, and cash flow.
• Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, production, supply chain, warehouse and trade compliance.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to project management best practices.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in electrical power distribution, engineering, project management, manufacturing, contracting, or a related field, ideally within North America.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with demonstrated ownership of project scope, cost, schedules, vendors, subcontractors, and customer commitments.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, with hands‑on exposure to at least one of the following product areas:
  • Low or medium voltage switchgear
  • Switchboards
  • Power distribution units
  • Automatic transfer switches
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with modular/ePOD products is preferred, but not required.
• Experience managing complex, long‑cycle projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders, ideally in data center, construction, manufacturing, engineer‑to‑order, or similar project environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP/project management systems, including SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
• Strong influencing, coaching, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington at five days per week and travel approximately 10-20% for project‑related needs.
