Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Thomson Power Systems in Arlington, Texas. This fully onsite role reports to the Manager, Project Management and requires coordinating with operations, field service, and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in project management for electrical power generation or distribution, a Bachelor’s degree (EE preferred), and strong ERP/MS Office skills. PMP is a plus; travel to other locations may occur.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project management for electrical power generation, manufacturing, contracting or distribution in North America.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience; PMP is an asset.
• 2–3 years in electrical power distribution with exposure to switchgear, switchboards, or power distribution units.
• Experience managing scope, costs, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
• Proficient with SAP, MS Project and MS Office.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. ____________________ This role is onsite 5 days per week in Arlington, Texas, with occasional travel to other locations.

About Thomson Power Systems: Thomson Power systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with our operations and field service teams, reporting to the Manager, Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Ensure project execution aligns with contractual requirements and internal guidelines.
• Oversee project financials including invoicing, cost tracking, expenses, and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Project Management, working as Project Manager for electrical power generation, manufacturing, contracting and/or distribution, ideally within North America.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PMP designation is an asset.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electrical power distribution, with hands-on exposure to at least one of the following product areas: Low or medium voltage switchgear Switchboards Power distribution units Automatic transfer switches EPOD knowledge is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP systems including SAP, MS Project, and other MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop trust and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Strong influencing, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skill.
