Job summary

Thomson Power Systems, part of Regal Rexnord, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering initiatives in Arlington, TX. This role requires five days onsite weekly, close collaboration with sales, engineering, and operations, and management of budgets, schedules, and contracts.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electrical power distribution and at least 5 years in project management, with ERP systems proficiency and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of progressive experience in electrical power distribution, engineering, project management, manufacturing, contracting, or a related field, ideally within North America.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with demonstrated ownership of project scope, cost, schedules, vendors, subcontractors, and customer commitments.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, with hands-on exposure to at least one of the following product areas: Low or medium voltage switchgear, Switchboards, Power distribution units, Automatic transfer switches.
  • Experience with modular/ePOD products is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience managing complex, long-cycle projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders, ideally in data center, construction, manufacturing, engineer-to-order, or similar project environments.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP/project management systems, including SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
  • Ability to work onsite in Arlington at five days per week and travel approximately 10-20% for project-related needs.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with our operations and field service teams, reporting to the Manager of Project Management.

  • Experience managing complex, long-cycle projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders, ideally in data center, construction, manufacturing, engineer-to-order, or similar project environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP/project management systems, including SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong influencing, coaching, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Arlington at five days per week and travel approximately 10-20% for project-related needs.
