Job summary

Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical power generation projects onsite in Arlington, TX. You will work with operations, field service and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in project management for electrical power distribution, a bachelor’s degree (EE preferred), and familiarity with SAP, MS Project and MS Office. PMP is a plus and sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Project Management for electrical power generation, manufacturing, contracting and/or distribution, ideally in North America.
• Bachelor's degree required; Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience; PMP designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to project management best practices.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

This role is onsite 5 days per week in Arlington, Texas, with occasional travel to other locations.

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with our operations and field service teams, reporting to the Manager, Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Ensure project execution aligns with contractual requirements and internal guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Project Management, working as Project Manager for electrical power generation, manufacturing, contracting and/or distribution, ideally within North America.
• Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PMP designation is an asset.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electrical power distribution, with hands-on exposure to at least one of the following product areas:
  • Low or medium voltage switchgear
  • Switchboards
  • Power distribution units
  • Automatic transfer switches
  • EPOD knowledge is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP systems including SAP, MS Project, and other MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop trust and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Strong influencing, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skill.
