Job summary

Goodall Brazier partners with a leading general contractor to recruit a Senior Project Manager for multifamily construction in Mountain View, CA. You will own projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

You will oversee superintendents and support staff, mentoring engineers and assistant PMs while tracking financials and ensuring adherence to CA codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus 8+ years of construction PM experience.
• Strong track record delivering multifamily (ground-up and podium/wrap) projects.
• Procore and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) proficiency.
• Familiarity with California building codes and entitlement processes preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

Goodall Brazier have recently partnered with a leading general contractor specializing in multifamily construction to assist in their search for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Mountain View, CA. This contractor delivers ground-up and podium multifamily projects across the Bay Area and is looking to add a key member to their team to support their continued growth in the region.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure each project is delivered safely, on schedule, and on budget. You will also oversee project superintendents and support staff, and play an active role in mentoring project engineers and assistant project managers.

Day to Day Responsibilities of this role:

• Lead full-cycle project management for multifamily projects, from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractor buyout, and change order processes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and design teams throughout construction
• Oversee project superintendents and support staff on site, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to identify risk and resolve issues proactively
• Track project financials and report progress to senior leadership and ownership
• Mentor and support the development of project engineers and assistant project managers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, plus 8+ years of construction project management experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong track record delivering multifamily (ground-up and/or podium/wrap) projects
• Strong working knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)
• Familiarity with California building codes and entitlement processes preferred
• Valid driver's license, with willingness to travel to job sites as required
