Job summary

Renowned Recruitment Group partners with a well-established Bay Area general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team.

You will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, architects, and trade partners to meet schedule, budget, quality and safety goals. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in construction PM, experience on commercial projects up to $20M, and proficiency with Procore, Sage, MS Project and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects up to $20M.
  • Strong understanding of architectural, structural and MEPF systems.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Sage, MS Project and Bluebeam.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related; equivalent construction experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, contracts, change orders and overall financial performance.
  • Coordinate architectural, structural and MEPF scopes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify project risks, resolve field and design issues, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, RFIs, submittals and project documentation.
  • Partner closely with field leadership to maintain schedules and achieve project milestones.
  • Mentor and support project team members while contributing to a collaborative, accountable culture.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality and client satisfaction.

We are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded Bay Area general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients and trade partners, and managing projects from preconstruction/planning through successful completion.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality and safety objectives are achieved.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proficiency with construction technology such as Procore, Sage, Microsoft Project and Bluebeam.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline preferred; equivalent construction experience will also be considered.
