Job summary

Jobtailor in New York, NY seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional project teams and drive mid-sized initiatives from planning through post-rollout review. You will analyze performance data, maintain dashboards, and partner across Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, and Finance to deliver measurable outcomes.

You should have 5+ years in project management, PMP/Agile certification preferred, and experience in financial services or fintech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, business operations, or a related field.
• 4+ years coordinating cross-functional projects and stakeholder activities, managing multiple priorities, tracking commitments and performance.
• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• PMP/ Agile/ Lean certifications preferred.
• Experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or another regulated industry preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities of project teams for mid-sized projects.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and action item trackers for C2B initiatives.
• Coordinate meetings, document decisions, communicate project updates, monitor progress, and elevate risks, issues, and delays.
• Assist with status reports, executive updates, and project documentation.
• Improve project management processes, tools, and operating procedures.
• Support dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
• Gather, validate, and analyze business performance data and identify trends and key observations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business review materials and monitor key performance indicators.
• Support analysis of pricing, adoption, operational performance, business goals, and stakeholder commitments.
• Develop familiarity with the C2B product portfolio, customer journeys, and operational processes.
• Research competitors, industry trends, customer needs, and market developments.
• Analyze customer feedback and operational insights and identify process inefficiencies, customer pain points, and product enhancement or business case opportunities.
• Partner across Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, and Compliance.
• Facilitate collaboration, clarify expectations, and provide organized updates and recommendations.
• Support project governance, documentation, reporting discipline, and knowledge management.
• Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements to tools and operating procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, business operations, consulting, financial services, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience coordinating cross-functional projects and stakeholder activities, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, tracking project commitments, analyzing business issues, and supporting business performance monitoring
• Experience maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, action item trackers, dashboards, scorecards, status reports, and business performance reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, technology, project management, or a related field required
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, Lean, or comparable project/program management certification is preferred
• Experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or another regulated industry is preferred
• Experience analyzing pricing, adoption, operational performance, business goals, customer feedback, and market or industry trends is preferred
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar tools is a plus
