Job summary

Southland Industries in Washington state seeks a senior project leader to manage a large project team or multiple teams, directing staffing and performance reviews while serving as the main point of contact for the project.

You will provide status updates to clients and leadership, develop and implement strategies, oversee budgets and change orders, and mentor team members through coaching and feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience, including 5+ years in people management.
• Mastery knowledge of systems design such as HVAC and plumbing, and related design engineering aspects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to engage with all levels of employees, clients and contractors.
• Strong leadership and proven ability to lead large teams.
• Strong public speaking ability.
• Proficient with CADD, ERP, and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large project team or multiple project teams, including staffing and performance appraisals.
• Provide project status updates to clients and leadership.
• Maintain solid client relationships and source revenue opportunities.
• Develop and implement project strategies.
• Oversee budgets, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc.
• Participate in project meetings with internal departments.
• Delegate work and mentor the project team; provide coaching and feedback.
