Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Project Manager, Principal to lead a complex enterprise regulatory mandate and support the Enterprise Mandates Delivery team with governance, data validation and reporting.

The role balances direct delivery (about 50%) with portfolio governance, risk escalation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of processes and tools such as Planview, Archer, Jira, Excel and SharePoint. Hybrid in-office requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Requires 10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects or programs.
• Expertise in portfolio and project management within regulated environments; healthcare domain experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to communicate governance to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a complex enterprise regulatory mandate (approximately 50% of time).
• Support Enterprise Mandates Delivery team through governance, data validation, reporting, and process/tool improvements.
• Escalate risks and share knowledge; contribute to business continuity planning.
