Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Project Manager III to lead high-profile, complex projects across disciplines, ensuring strategic decisions and client satisfaction. You will guide multi-team delivery, manage budgets and schedules, and communicate proactively with clients and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and significant PM experience; PMP is preferred. Travel up to 10–15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 9 years in project management.
• Advanced proficiency in project management standards.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-discipline or strategically complex projects, coordinating planning, execution, and client experience.
• Develops and negotiates proposals, contracts, and budgets for high-visibility projects.
• Directs project deliverables across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
• Manages client service and project communication, maintaining proactive communication throughout the project life cycle.
• Leads financial oversight for complex project budgets, proactively addressing risks and making real-time adjustments.
• Accountable for delivery success across complex or high-risk efforts, ensuring both outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Leads efforts to improve performance and ensure consistent adherence to applicable quality standards.
• Selects sub-consultants and manages and maintains relationships with them.
• Leads development of program contracts and project fee matrices for large or complex programs.
• Oversees and coordinates all aspects of program project execution, ensuring proper resource management strategies.
