Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks a Project Manager III to lead high-profile, multi-discipline projects in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure client satisfaction, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgets while coordinating internal teams and sub-consultants.

You will develop proposals, manage contracts, oversee budgets, and mentor project teams, contributing to business development and stewardship of our ESOP-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business is required.
• Ten years of project management experience; minimum nine years with a degree, or fourteen years without a degree.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Self-starter with the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Proven collaboration, communication and organization skills.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in core competencies as described in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-discipline or strategically complex projects, coordinating all aspects of planning, execution, and client experience.
• Develops and negotiates proposals, contracts, and budgets for high-visibility or multi-phase projects; advises others on complex scoping.
• Directs project deliverables across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
• Manages client service and project communication, maintaining proactive communication throughout the project life cycle.
• Leads financial oversight for complex project budgets, proactively addressing risks and making real-time adjustments.
• Accountable for delivery success across complex or high-risk efforts, ensuring both outcomes and client satisfaction.
