Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA seeks a Senior Project Manager to independently lead highly complex projects across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance for medium and high voltage equipment and systems.

The role requires strong commercial judgment, technical leadership, and experience guiding cross‑functional teams through risk and change control.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience on electrical equipment or large capital projects.
PMP certification preferred.
8+ years of advanced understanding of electrical industrial systems and integration.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, customer-facing projects.
Strong knowledge of NEMA, IEC, IEEE, UL and related standards.
Proficient with project controls, lifecycle management, and ERP tools (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

Independently lead multiple concurrent projects from handoff through closeout.
Serve as primary customer interface and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Establish execution strategies, schedules, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
Lead kickoff, reviews, risk reviews, and closeout activities.
Manage scope, change control, and approvals as needed.
Lead resolution of complex technical and commercial issues.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, field service, procurement, logistics, quality, vendors, and customers.
Maintain ownership of project financial performance and cash flow.
