Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Sr Manager, Major Project Lead to serve as the senior operational leader and project lead for a strategic Houston project. You will deliver on schedule and budgets, while ensuring safety, quality, and strong customer satisfaction on a large, multi-discipline program.

You will maintain an onsite presence, coordinate construction, modernization, maintenance, repair, and service activities, and lead a team to achieve project and customer objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in project management, construction, service operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex customer projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of project execution, service operations, and customer relationship management.
• Experience managing financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and operational metrics.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong customer partnerships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Project Lead and primary Otis representative for a large project in Houston.
• Maintain a daily onsite presence to build customer relationships, support execution, and ensure responsiveness to customer needs.
• Provide overall leadership and direction for all project activities, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Lead and coordinate project execution across construction, modernization, maintenance, repair, and service operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports with clear performance expectations and accountability.
• Partner with field operations teams to drive service performance, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial results.
• Oversee service operations activities, including maintenance, repair, workforce planning, customer issue resolution, and performance.
• Collaborate with sales to identify growth opportunities, support retention, and drive service and modernization sales.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and internal partners.
• Monitor project and service performance metrics, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project status, customer satisfaction, and opportunities.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
