Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Project Engineer for the Sensors and Integrated Systems – Integrated Air Data Systems (IADS) Engineering team in an onsite role. You will coordinate a cross-functional design team of hardware, software, and test engineers to deliver complex air data systems.

You will develop project plans, manage budgets and schedules, document scope changes, and present progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Strong project experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and report on a cross-functional design team of hardware, software, and test engineers.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets and monitor adherence.
• Record changes in scope and delays to keep projects on track.
• Identify mitigation plans and pursue cost-saving opportunities.
• Direct all phases of the project from inception through completion.
• Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare reports.
