Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a Payroll Compliance Specialist to prepare prevailing wage reports and ensure compliance with certified payroll activities across multi-state projects. You will support labor compliance initiatives and assist the Labor Compliance Manager in ensuring regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities include Davis Bacon reporting, tracking hours for owner-controlled insurance projects, and auditing payroll records to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll and job costing experience in construction.
• 3+ years of Prevailing Wage and Davis Bacon reporting in a multi-state environment.
• Experience tracking and reporting hours for owner-controlled insurance projects.
• Experience auditing payroll records for accuracy and compliance.

Job Summary

Preparation of prevailing wage reports and ensure company’s compliance to all certified payroll activity. Assist with labor compliance related projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform Public Works and Davis Bacon project reporting (multi-state) and ensure accurate processing, recording, and reporting of Certified Payroll Records (CPR)
• Assist with tracking and reporting hours for projects subject to owner-controlled insurance to meet reporting requirements
• Perform audits of various payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Track Subcontract Certified Payroll Reports
• Answer certified payroll questions and requests
• Assist with compliance related projects as assigned by Labor Compliance Manager
• Additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with payroll and job costing within a construction environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Prevailing Wage and Davis Bacon project reporting in a multi-state environment.
• Experience in tracking and reporting hours for projects subject to owner-controlled insurance.
• Experience performing audits of various payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency in relevant software or systems used for payroll and reporting.
• Knowledge of tracking Subcontract Certified Payroll Reports.
• Experience answering certified payroll questions and requests.
• Ability to take ownership of compliance-related projects.
• Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing regulations and requirements.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll operations.
• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Prevailing Wage and Davis Bacon project reporting in a multi-state environment.
• Experience in tracking and reporting hours for projects subject to owner-controlled insurance.
• Experience performing audits of various payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Knowledge of tracking Subcontract Certified Payroll Reports.
• Experience answering certified payroll questions and requests.
• Ability to take ownership of compliance-related projects.
• Proficiency in relevant software or systems used for payroll and reporting.
• Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing regulations and requirements.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to effectively communicate, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers; manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment

Working Conditions

• The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate
