Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Project Buyer to coordinate with suppliers and fabricators to meet milestone dates and support construction schedules. Responsibilities include reporting vendor data status and fabrication progress to the project team and client, under general supervision.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, specifically project expediting, and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification is not required for this position.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Expediting.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with department processes and developing and maintaining supplier/contractor relationships.
• Interpreting project schedules and fabrication schedules.
• Developing expediting plans for the tracking of vendor data.
• Working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure adherence to contractual delivery dates.
• Communicating status of vendor data and equipment to the Project Team and Client.
