Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Buyer/Expeditor to coordinate with suppliers and fabricators to keep milestone dates and the overall construction schedule on track.

This role requires five years of supply chain expediting experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a solid working knowledge of INCOTERMS and Microsoft Office. You will report status to the project team and client and develop expediting plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, specifically project expediting.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and fabricators.
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS and ability to organize with extreme attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Expedite vendor data and fabrication schedules to meet delivery dates.
• Develop expediting plans and monitor supplier progress.
• Communicate status to project team and client.
• Report vendor data status, fabrication status, and shipping information to the project team and end user.
