Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking a Project Buyer to coordinate with suppliers and fabricators to ensure milestone dates align with the project schedule. The role involves tracking vendor data, fabrication progress, and shipping information, with reporting to the project team and client.

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years in supply chain management focusing on project expediting, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification is not required for this position.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, specifically project expediting.
• Knowledge and application of INCOTERMS.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers and fabricators to meet milestone dates.
• Develop and implement expediting plans for vendor data and fabrication schedules.
• Communicate vendor data and equipment status to project team and client.
• Report on shipping information and recovery plans as needed.
• Interpret project and fabrication schedules to support construction timelines.
