Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Project Buyer to coordinate with suppliers and fabricators to meet milestone dates and support construction schedules. Responsibilities include reporting vendor data status and fabrication progress to the project team and client, under general supervision.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, specifically project expediting, and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Communicating status of vendor data and equipment to the Project Team and Client.

What You'll Be Doing

Job Scope: The Project Buyer is generally responsible for working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure milestone dates are met in support of the overall project and construction schedule. Responsibilities also include reporting vendor data status, fabrication status, recovery plans, and shipping information to the project team and the end user. This work will be performed under general supervision.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To

• Familiarity with and utilization of department - Developing and maintaining supplier/contractor
• Interpreting project schedules and fabrication schedules.
• Developing expediting plans for the tracking of vendor data and
• Working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure adherence to contractual delivery dates.
• Communicating status of vendor data and equipment to the Project Team and Client.

Ideal Background

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Certification: Certification is not required for this position

Experience: This position requires at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Expediting.
