North Mechanical Contracting and Service, based in Indianapolis, seeks a seasoned Project Executive to lead its contracting portfolio. The role centers on supervising Project Managers and teams, guiding resource planning, and ensuring performance aligns with company goals.

Strong financial and risk management expertise are essential, with a preference for a construction management/engineering/business background.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive construction management experience.
• Strong financial, contractual, and risk management skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Executive Oversight of Multiple Projects and Project Teams.
• Lead Portfolio Resource Planning, Staffing, and Workload Management.
• Monitor Fabrication Capacity, Procurement Risks, and Project Performance.
• Drive Portfolio Profitability, Financial Forecasting, and Accountability.
• Identify and Mitigate Project, Operational, and Contractual Risks.
• Support Contract Review, Negotiation, and Change Management.
• Mentor and Develop Project Managers, APMs, and Project Engineers.
• Lead Performance Management, Career Development, and Team Retention.
• Build Relationships with Owners, General Contractors, and Trade Partners.
• Support Client Retention, Business Development, and Strategic Growth.
• Improve Project Management Standards, Processes, and Operational Efficiency.
• Align Portfolio Execution with Company Goals and Quarterly Strategic Priorities.
