Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a senior project manager to provide executive leadership for mid-size to large, complex construction programs in Texas. You will lead project managers, collaborate with field operations, and drive performance across safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

You will mentor project leaders, manage client and trade partner relationships, and escalate critical issues while delivering outcomes aligned with DPR's standards and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads execution of multiple mid-size projects or a large project, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Directs and supports project managers and project teams, providing guidance on complex execution challenges and decision-making.
• Serves as the primary point of escalation for significant project risks, client concerns, contractual matters, and performance issues.
• Oversees project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cost controls, contract administration, and risk management strategies.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, designers, support resources, and key trade partners to support collaboration, issue resolution, and repeat work.
• Mentors and develops project leaders by providing coaching, performance feedback, and guidance on individualized development and training plans.
