Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a senior leader to provide execution oversight for multiple mid-size projects or a large, complex construction program. You will guide project managers, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and manage client relationships as part of a unified leadership team.

The role emphasizes driving performance, coaching project leaders, and aligning with DPR’s standard processes for risk, cost control, and intraprofessional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of experience in construction project management or operations required.
• Experience leading multiple mid-size projects or a large, complex project required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads execution of multiple mid-size projects or a large project, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Directs and supports project managers and project teams, providing guidance on complex execution challenges and decision-making.
• Serves as the primary point of escalation for significant project risks, client concerns, contractual matters, and performance issues.
• Oversees project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cost controls, contract administration, and risk management strategies.
• Partners with superintendents and safety leadership to reinforce consistent field presence, safety leadership behaviors, and disciplined high-risk activity planning and execution.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, designers, support resources, and key trade partners to support collaboration, issue resolution, and repeat work.
• Mentors and develops project leaders by providing coaching, performance feedback, and guidance on individualized development and training plans.
