Job summary

Hydrogen Group seeks a Senior Project Estimator to join the project estimating team supporting energy and infrastructure projects. The role involves developing cost estimates from concept through definitive estimating and partnering with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to evaluate scope, costs and risks.

The portfolio includes utility-scale solar, wind, energy storage, transmission, substations, hydrogen, pipelines and other major infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project estimating experience, ideally with conceptual engineering and project design.
• Experience supporting utility-scale energy, renewable energy, or major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of conceptual, preliminary and definitive project cost estimates.
• Develop pricing models and cost databases to improve estimating accuracy.
• Identify contingencies and perform value engineering to reduce costs while meeting requirements.
• Present estimates and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
