SOCOTEC, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Project Environmental Geologist or Engineer to lead environmental investigations and remediation projects. You will manage Phase I/II ESAs, coordinate field work, mentor staff, and maintain client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

The role combines technical leadership with business development, offering in-office work with potential for one remote/ hybrid day and a competitive compensation package.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
• PG or PE licensure preferred.
• Experience managing Phase I and Phase II environmental investigations and remediation projects.
• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee soil and groundwater investigation/remediation projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate field investigations, including drilling, logging borings, trenches, and cores.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals.
