SOCOTEC, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Project Environmental Geologist or Engineer to lead environmental investigations, remediation projects, and client relationships within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and project delivery across Phase I/II ESAs and related environmental services. The candidate should have 5–10 years of environmental consulting experience, a degree in Geology or Engineering, and preferably PG or PE licensure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years environmental consulting experience.
• Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Professional licensure as a PG or PE preferred.
• Experience managing Phase I and Phase II ESAs and remediation projects.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
• Plan and oversee soil and groundwater investigation/remediation projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Serve as primary client contact with regulators, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate field investigations including drilling, borings, trenches, cores.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, proposals and cost estimates.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance.
• Mentor staff scientists, engineers, geologists, and technicians.
• Support business development and growth of the environmental practice.
• Ensure safety and adherence to company standards on all projects.
