Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Florida is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead a multi-project team delivering Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for the FBM program. You will coordinate resources, manage schedules and costs, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to resolve production challenges on-site.

The role demands leadership, EV M/CAM knowledge, and the ability to obtain a DoD TS clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/education
• Demonstrated team leadership and/or L-code management experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite especially Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Prior project management experience
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), CAM
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, interfacing with customers
• Ability to obtain a DoD TS Clearance
• Experience driving complex issues to closure
• Demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives
• Experience leading proposals

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Engineering team to enable relentless execution across 50+ projects
• Mentor your team and deliver on commitments
• Oversee CAM activities for the portfolio
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to resolve production problems and support on-site MGSE
• Recruitment, training, performance, and salary decisions
• Ensure timely compliance tasks and enforce processes
• Develop and implement talent and capability roadmaps
• Assess performance and conduct reviews and career discussions
• Review and audit time charges and travel/expense reports
