Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electronics Engineer IV to design, develop, and validate EGSE hardware for the FBM program. You will lead design reviews, resolve issues, and drive integration of world-class avionics test equipment used to certify FBM systems through testing lifecycles.

You will work on D5LE EGSE hardware, bridging system engineering, hardware design, software development, and test operations to ensure on‑schedule, cost‑effective deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (or higher) as required by the program
• Experience in electronics hardware design, development, and integration for aerospace/defense or high‑reliability platforms

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in design reviews (PDR, CDR, Test Readiness Review) and resolve technical issues.
• Lead continuous process improvement for the D5LE EGSE Portfolio.
• Work on a cross‑functional team for development and integration of avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies, troubleshoot, and support system level testing.
• Define EGSE architecture, standards, and interfaces aligned with parent system requirements.
