GBRA is seeking a professional engineer experienced in water and wastewater treatment design, construction management, and retail wastewater planning. The Senior Project Engineer will oversee complex infrastructure projects, possibly multiple concurrent assignments, and may lead project teams to deliver results.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and agencies to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with civil, electrical, water resources or environmental emphasis.
• Seven years of progressive engineering experience across water and wastewater projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with scoping, scheduling, coordination and monitoring.
• Develop and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Lead project teams to timely completion.
• Provide technical guidance and act as in-house expert.
• Identify funding opportunities and manage application processes.
• Review submittals, RFIs, design changes, and contracts.
