Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to work on industrial construction projects, primarily water/wastewater plant construction, across Northern Virginia, DC, and the Baltimore area.

The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing onsite engineering activities with the project team. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with contract requirements, supporting construction schedules (Primavera P6), managing costs and cash flow, and coordinating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of similar construction engineering experience.
• PE registration preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for industrial projects.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with contract requirements and support the project schedule.
• Provide technical support in planning, design interpretation, and resolving design conflicts.
• Prepare and submit monthly cost, income, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices; manage change orders and claims.
