Job summary

Elbit Systems of America, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to manage technical execution of programs, perform requirements analysis, and lead systems integration efforts. You will coordinate with PMO and engineering teams to translate customer needs into total system solutions, balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in related engineering fields; PMP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of related Project Engineering Management and Systems Engineering experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office including MS Project and Visio.
• PMP exposure or certification is a plus.
• Experience with DOORS or similar relational databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Engineering project plans on assigned Programs.
• Perform requirements management using tools such as DOORS.
• Establish timelines, budgets, and secure support from management.
• Conceptualize and oversee systems-level architecture design.
• Lead teams and facilitate cross-functional communication.
• Perform requirements analysis and allocations.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement recovery plans.
• Communicate task progress to Engineering resources.
• Escalate issues to management as needed.
• Create procedures for SE tasks and perform system integration.
