Job summary

Elbit America is seeking a Project Engineer to manage the technical execution of assigned programs, translating customer requirements into systems specifications, planning schedules, budgets, and technical risk management. The role maintains project plans, leads teams, and ensures delivery of integrated systems from concept through deployment.

The PE coordinates with PMO, supports verification and validation, and drives adherence to engineering processes while ensuring cost and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years related Project Engineering Management and Systems Engineering experience.
• PMP exposure or certification a plus; working knowledge of project management processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering project plans for new development or sustainment.
• Perform requirements management using tools such as DOORS.
• Establish timelines, budgets, and secure buy-in from management.
• Conceptualize, analyze, design, and oversee systems-level architecture.
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure engineering discipline representation.
• Perform requirements analysis and allocations across the program.
• Identify and mitigate roadblocks; develop recovery plans for off-schedule events.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
• Create procedures for SE tasks and perform systems integration and validation tasks.
