Job summary

Elbit America is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the technical management of programs, from requirements analysis to testing and readiness. You will plan engineering content, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with PMO and engineering teams on complex systems developments.

The role requires 5+ years in project engineering and systems engineering, experience with DOORS and Visio, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of project engineering and systems engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of SE, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and Visio.
• PMP exposure or certification is a plus.
• DOORs or similar requirements management tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering project plans for new product development or sustainment.
• Perform requirements management using DOORS and allocate requirements.
• Establish timelines and budgets with buy-in from management.
• Conceptualize and oversee systems-level architecture design.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate engineering discipline representation.
• Communicate progress and escalate issues as needed.
• Support verification, validation, and systems integration tasks.
