Job summary

Elbit America is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to perform requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification, and supportability analyses across defense systems. You will guide IPT teams and mentor junior engineers while addressing cost and schedule goals.

The role emphasizes MBSE, architecture evaluation, and collaboration with customers to capture Voice of the Customer and translate it into design improvements. On-site work with periodic travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electro‑optical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with defense systems and DoD clearance.
• Knowledge of model‑based systems engineering concepts and complex architectures.

Responsibilities

• Review and document system requirements, CONOPS, and mission statements.
• Develop and review technical documents, specifications, and standards.
• Lead system development using Model Based Systems Engineering.
• Plan verification and validation activities for complex designs.
