Job summary

TerraForm Power is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical execution across utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects from development through turnover to Operations.

You will act as a senior technical authority, interfacing with EPCs, utilities, and suppliers, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence while upholding TERP’s standards and governance. This role also drives continuous improvement across the project delivery portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7 years in power or renewable energy engineering.
• Experience with EPC project execution and major equipment procurement.
• Knowledge of energy modeling tools (e.g., PVsyst).
• Familiarity with PJM/SERC interconnection and permitting preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution for multiple projects or complex scopes through construction and turnover.
• Serve as primary technical decision-maker aligning with engineering standards.
• Provide pre-construction support including risk evaluation, layout optimization, and cost input.
• Oversee EPC design deliverables and ensure governance and standards compliance.
• Provide executive-level technical updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
