Job summary

Terracon in Midland, TX is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Remote) to lead a portfolio of complex projects in renewables, data centers and infrastructure. You will manage schedule, budgets, and client relationships, mentoring junior staff and coordinating cross-discipline teams.

This remote role requires a Texas P.E. license (or ability to obtain), 8+ years of experience, and occasional travel to meet stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 8+ years' related experience.
• P.E. license in Texas or ability to obtain.
• Travel to Midland, TX office as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of geotechnical projects and coordinate work across teams.
• Plan, schedule, budget, and manage resource needs for projects.
• Interact with clients and provide technical leadership and proposals.
• Evaluate laboratory and field data and prepare written reports.
• Develop project plans and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Lead marketing, business development and mentoring of engineers.
