Job summary

Entergy, a leading energy company in the United States, seeks a Project Engineer for its Power Development engineering team to drive innovation and ensure constructible designs for gas-fired new generation projects. You will coordinate with PMs, internal SMEs, EPC contractors, and regulators while maintaining design standards and technical quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safe behavior and adheres to project safety rules.
• Develops and maintains engineering design standards for new generation projects (gas).
• Supports technical evaluation of project proposals to meet Entergy standards.
• Coordinates with PMs and cross-functional teams during development.
• Acts as Contract Manager for engineering contracts outside the EPC scope.
